Peer Review

All articles submitted to the editorial office of the international legal publication “European Socio-Legal and Humanitarian Studies” are subjected to peer review procedure.

The assessment of materials is made according to the double-blind review (the assessors do not know the name of the author’s article nor does the author know the assessors’ names).

The purpose of review is to improve the quality of articles which are published in the journal.

Criteria for article’s review:

  • compliance with subject matter of the journal;
  • research topicality;
  • novelty;
  • practical value of research results;
  • degree of resolution of the research target;
  • comprehensibility of presented material;
  • comprehensibility of illustrated materials;
  • reasonableness of conclusions;
  • degree of article’s content presentation in summary.

Reviewers are informed that any manuscripts received for consideration should be treated as confidential documents and they should not be discussed. Reviewers are not permitted to copy reviewed article or use materials of the article before its publication. Review is carried out confidentially.
